Our vision is a Mississauga where every family on the autism journey feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive. Mississauga Autism was founded on a simple but powerful idea: that no one should have to navigate a complex and fragmented system of services alone.
Our mission is to be that central, compassionate, and reliable hub. We bridge the gaps by providing a comprehensive directory of vetted local resources, fostering a strong community network where families can connect, and advocating for a more inclusive future for all individuals on the spectrum.
Born from Experience, Built for the Community.
Mississauga Autism wasn’t born in a boardroom. It was born from late-night conversations between parents, caregivers, and local specialists who all shared the same frustration: the search for reliable, local autism resources was scattered, overwhelming, and isolating.
Determined to create a better way forward, we pooled our personal experiences and professional knowledge. Our goal was to build the one resource we all wished we’d had from the start—a single, trustworthy, and compassionate place to find help, hope, and genuine connection right here in Mississauga.
Today, our team continues to be driven by that same founding passion: to support every family’s unique journey with understanding and empower them with the tools they need to thrive.
